The independent Worcestershire Imaging Centre (WIC) in Droitwich Spa has completed an upgrade of its Magnetom Symphony MRI system from Siemens Healthcare.  The upgrade saw the scanner virtually rebuilt to include Tim technology allowing WIC to maintain its position as the only non-hospital-based MRI scanning facility in Worcestershire.

“We pride ourselves on the personal service we give our patients, and we are very enthusiastic about this important upgrade to our MRI technology which is currently the most advanced MRI scanner in the county,” said centre managing director Dr Peter Turner.
