Radiology department now has its own wheelchair

Seated in the donated wheelchair at Colchester General Hospital is logistics manager David Cottrell. With him are deputy radiology services manager John Hendricks, senior radiographer Debbie Chapman, interventional radiographer Haley Duffy and trainee assistant practitioner Luke Mussett.
Colchester General Hospital has benefited from a campaign run in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee to provide 60 wheelchairs to 60 NHS hospitals.
The ’60 for 60′ wheelchair appeal run by charity Path to Success donated a porter’s wheelchair worth £600 to the hospital’s radiology department for patients needing diagnostic tests. It has drop-down arms, telescopic leg-rests and an intravenous drip pole.
