Hospital for reconstructive surgery chooses Aplio

News

With the Aplio 500 system at Queen Victoria Hospital are ultrasound advanced practitioner Vivien Houghton, consultant radiologist Dr Lekha Chandrasekharan, radiology department assistant Linda Windsor, ultrasound advanced practitioner Annette Gidman and radiology department assistant Jo Farmborough.

Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead plans to make use of Toshiba’s applications support following its installation of an Aplio 500 ultrasound system.

Ultrasound advanced practitioner Vivien Houghton said: “We chose the Aplio 500 because of its excellent image quality and intuitive controls, which make it easy to learn and use.   We were pleased to hear that, as part of Toshiba’s Applications for Life programme, an applications specialist for our hospital will give ongoing support for as long as it is required.  This was an important factor in making a decision as we have a number of visiting radiologists and sonographers who may not be so familiar with the system.”
