Musgrove Park now offers cardiac stress imaging

Musgrove Park Hospital, part of Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, has completed the installation of a Magnetom Aera 1.5T MRI system from Siemens Healthcare.  The multi-purpose system is enabling the hospital to conduct cardiac stress imaging for the first time through its Cardiac Dot application.

“The installation has made an immediate impact, allowing us to offer cardiac stress imaging for the first time,” said deputy clinical manager Gill Stapleton-Smith.
