Vieira unveils latest addition to help Manchester Royal Infirmary

Manchester Royal Infirmary had help from a World Cup winning footballer to unveil the latest imaging technology in its interventional radiology suite.
Manager of the reserves squad at Manchester City FC Patrick Vieira cut the ribbon to reveal technology including an Artis zee ceiling-mounted system from Siemens Healthcare. The technology is expected to deliver excellent image quality and more efficient dose reduction measures.
“We chose the system to improve productivity and enhance patient care with its Care and Clear low dose features,” said lead interventional radiographer Angela Parkinson. “Staff are very familiar with the system interface, having used several other Artis zees in the hospital. The initial feedback has been excellent.”
