Automated processes aid vascular imaging

Royal Blackburn Hospital’s vascular department has acquired a Philips iU22 xMatrix ultrasound system, chosen for its ease of use and Doppler sensitivity.
The xMatrix probe can be used for assessing aortic aneurysms. The system is said to provide outstanding vascular performance across a wide variety of patient sizes and applications, from carotid to lower extremity examinations.
