A less daunting interventional experience at Salford Royal

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust has installed an Artis zee multi-purpose interventional imaging system from Siemens Healthcare in its fluoroscopy suite.
Selected for its dose-saving Care and Clear features, the system is mainly being used for specialist procedures such as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, gastrointestinal imaging and interventional procedures. It has also increased capacity for joint injections and arthrograms.
Lead GI radiographer Lisa Lyon said: “Staff have found the system easy to use. Patients have also commented on the less daunting appearance and the increased comfort of the Artis zee MP.”
