Dundee’s Ninewells Hospital has welcomed a new era of digital radiography, following the installation of a Samsung XGEO GC80 DR x-ray system with image stitching. Features includes robotic controlled movement, Smart Stitching and next generation image processing.

The Ninewells physics team put the system through its paces and were said to be pleased with what they found. Superintendent radiographer Jean Strachan said: “We love the Samsung, it has made life much easier. My staff now prefer to use this room rather than the older systems. The image quality is just stunning.”
