PACS functions key to C-arm’s success at Bristol

Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital The Chesterfield has installed a Philips Healthcare BV Endura C-arm imaging system in its radiology department. The hospital was officially launched in October 2013 and the radiology department is a partnership between InHealth and Nuffield Health.
Imaging services manager Jennifer Jones said: “As part of the tender process the equipment was tested by our consultant orthopaedic surgeons, and its ease of use, worklist and PACS functions were identified as a key features.”
