Laparoscopic surgery updated at Southampton
Consultant hepatobiliary surgeon Mr Hassan Elberm with Hitachi Medical Systems UK clinical applications specialist Marie Lyons.
The surgical department at Southampton General Hospital has updated its ultrasound equipment in laparoscopic and general surgery applications with the purchase of a Hitachi Aloka ProSound Alpha 6.
“Hitachi’s wide ranging surgical probe selection and excellent image quality were priorities in our decision,” said consultant hepatobiliary surgeon Mr Hassan Elberm.
