Hexham expands fertility work

Hexham General Hospital, part of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, has purchased an Aloka ProSound Alpha 6 with convex and transvaginal transducers for its Hathor Suite. Suited to gynaecology, HyCoSy examinations and fertility work including egg recovery, the Alpha 6 provides multi-purpose performance within a compact, easy to use system with application specific probes and software.
According to Hitachi, the system’s high quality imaging and ease of use, coupled with recommendations from sister hospitals in the trust, made it the system of choice.
