Specialist neuroimaging unit invests in power injector

With Bayer clinical product specialist Martin Machalewski are radiographer Triona Dewar, superintendent radiographer Peter Sutton, radiographer Kirsty-Ann Price, radiographer Fiona Vicary and Bayer key account manager Elsy Keniry.
Queen Square Imaging Centre is pleased has taken delivery of a Medrad Spectris Solaris power injector from Bayer HealthCare during its 30th anniversary year. Upgrading the injector system has enabled the specialist neuroimaging unit to increase efficiency and add to the variety of imaging that can be provided to private and NHS patients.
MRI superintendent Peter Sutton said: “The investment we have made in our new injector will complement the high quality imaging equipment that we are already fortunate enough to operate and strengthens our ability to provide patients with the latest in diagnostic imaging techniques.
“We are a not for profit independent organisation, which donates profits directly back into the NHS and therefore anything that can improve efficiency and enhance patient experience is a real bonus, not only for the imaging centre, but for the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery which we support.”
