Good communication enables smooth cath lab replacement

Toshiba Medical Systems applications specialist Daniel Parr, estates manager Mark Williams, senior radiographer Emma Bell, Toshiba account executive Stephen Whale,  business relationship manager IT Maria Swan, cardiology/project manager Mark Bowers, project secretary Pauline Nokes, construction project manager Vincent Berry, senior cardiac physiologist Karen O’Brien and cath lab service manager Chris Prytherch.

Harefield Hospital, London, has purchased a Toshiba Infinix-i cath lab, comprising a single plane, floor mounted system with 20 x 20cm flat panel detector and Toshiba’s latest innovations Spot Fluoro and DTS.

Cath lab manager Mark Bowers says: “Toshiba managed the design, build and installation as a turnkey project of lab four at Harefield.  This is our primary lab, so it was imperative that the system was installed according to the programme with minimal disruption to the department.

“There was great communication with the Toshiba project team throughout the programme, which contributed to the smoothest replacement project that we have ever experienced at the hospital.”
