Low dose of image intensifiers delights radiographers

Following the acquisition of three Philips’ BV Pulsera C-arm image intensifiers, St George’s Hospital in London has added a fourth BV Pulsera to its equipment roster.  Purchased for its ease of use, image quality, low dose features and simple procedures for sending images to PACS, the system is supplied with angio software for vascular studies.

Superintendent neuroradiographer Sarah Foote said: “The radiographers and clinicians are delighted with the quality of the low dose images.”
