Adaptix receives CE certification for orthopaedic 3D imaging system
Adaptix Limited has received CE certification for the Adaptix Ortho350 orthopaedic 3D imaging system. Based at Oxford University Science Park, Adaptix aims to transform radiology by offering affordable, low dose 3D digital tomosynthesis imaging at the point of care.
The Adaptix Ortho350 is a compact, mobile system designed to deliver fast, low dose, high resolution 3D x-ray imaging. It was developed specifically for imaging upper and lower extremities, hands, elbows, shoulders, knees and feet, at a fraction of the radiation dose of traditional CT systems. Adaptix already supplies its core 3D imaging technology to the veterinary and industrial non-destructive testing markets via its Adaptix VetSA3D and Adaptix NDT3D product lines.
