Adjustable injectors enable more ethical approach

York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has purchased two CT Exprès syringeless injectors from Bracco. Principal CT radiographer Gwen Haley said: “The introduction of the two CT Exprès injectors has allowed for a more flexible and ethical approach in relation to contrast use and dosage. We can very easily alter the contrast media dose according to patient size, renal function and age, thereby reducing the contrast load for a patient, without wasting any contrast media.”
