Affidea acquires clinic to further its expansion in Spain
Affidea Group has acquired the Tecma clinic, an outpatient medical provider in Valencia, Spain. Tecma carries out more than 300,000 visits a year, offering advanced diagnostic imaging. With this acquisition in Spain, Affidea will reach 37 centres, serving more than 500,000 patients every year and expanding its geographical footprint. At country level, Affidea is working with nearly 1,000 professionals, of whom 200 will come from Tecma clinic.
Affidea Group ceo Giuseppe Recchi said: “Our strategy of expansion and developing our leadership position in every country is moving forward with yet another strategic acquisition. In the last year we grew significantly, adding 51 medical centres to our network, reaching today more than 320 centres and an impressive range of outpatient services.”
