Scarborough Hospital, part of the Scarborough and North East Yorkshire Healthcare NHS Trust has replaced its ageing fluoroscopy system with a Philips EasyDiagnost Eleva.
Radiology manager Monica Driver said: “Our colleagues at Bridlington Hospital already had a similar system and, based on their experiences we selected the Eleva and we are pleased with its image quality and reliability”
It was the first piece of equipment to be purchased through the NHS Supply Framework Agreement, and according to the hospital, the selection and procurement process was less bureaucratic and, according to the hospital, the selection and procurement process was less bureaucratic and a fairly quick process compared with previous installations.
Designed to perform a wide range of applications, the system is easy-to-use and easy-to-handle and comes with technology that enables pre-sets to be programmed to each user’s preferences.
