Agile x-ray cart begins three month tour

The tour visits Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.

After making an entrance at UKRCO 2017 for its launch party, the new Fujifilm FDR nano x-ray cart hit the road this month with a UK-wide tour of radiology departments and clinics.  During October, November and December the FDR nano will be visiting NHS hospitals and private clinics around the country, from Aberdeen to Portsmouth, demonstrating the future of mobile imaging under the tagline ‘where will you take yours?’

The roadshow will highlight the agility and manoeuvrability of the lightweight mobile x-ray unit.  At less than a quarter of the weight of a traditional mobile the FDR nano does not need a motor, and its smaller dimensions means it can be used in tight spaces.  The ultrasound-style cart moves with the lightest touch due to the unrestricted spin-and-slide motion of its four castors.
