Siemens and Airedale executives

Airedale NHS Foundation Trust has committed to a renewed 12-year value partnership with Siemens Healthineers. The radiology managed equipment services (MES) partnership has evolved following successful provision, maintenance and replacement of key radiology assets. The renewal will provide value-added services including a bespoke workforce development programme (WDP) and clinical service optimisation programme (CSOP).

Continued dedicated management of 35 key radiology assets ensures access to the latest technology and supports Airedale in providing patient-centred care for a population of more than 200,000 covering 700 square miles across Yorkshire and Lancashire.

The WDP and CSOP will help to address workflow and resource constraints, ensuring support for clinical and patient care needs while responding to the changing demands of the NHS. The WDP includes a range of training, education and hands-on learning experiences designed to support recruitment, retention and development of staff. The CSOP will support continuous improvement, innovation and development, focusing on areas the trust identifies as key priorities and aligning with Airedale’s strategic objectives.

“We at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust are delighted to embark on a third decade of partnership with Siemens Healthineers,” stated deputy coo and divisional operations director for surgery and diagnostics Rebecca Friar. “Over the past 20 years, we’ve laid a strong foundation together. This renewed commitment is deeply rooted in trust and underscores our unwavering commitment to our patients and staff.”
