Another Discovery at Oswestry

Pictured at the handover of an Hologic Discovery DXA system to the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic and District Hospital in Oswestry, supplied by Vertec Scientific, are (from left) medical physicist Mike Haddaway, DXA operators Amanda Harris and Dawn Pugh, superintendent radiographer Helen Davies, consultant physician and department director Dr Michael Davie, DXA assistant Caron Luxton and Vertec’s Paul Vaughan.

The hospital is a long-term Hologic user, having begun scanning in 1988 with a Hologic QDR 1000.

Comments Mrs Davies, “We are happy both with the Hologic DXA systems and the support provided by Vertec.”
