Aplio XG for Charing Cross

Toshiba ultrasound applications specialist Shane Hanlon and ultrasound marketing manager Stuart Mills with superintendent sonographer Daksha Patel and consultant radiologist Dr Adrian Lim.

At the handover of a Toshiba Aplio XG ultrasound scanner at Charing Cross Hospital, consultant radiologist Dr Adrian Lim remarked: “Our new system is providing exquisite image quality. We are finding it extremely versatile, enabling us to meet all our clinical and research requirements.”

The latest Aplio XG joins three other Aplio scanners in the department.

The XG is described as fast, quiet and accurate, with simple-to-operate technology and the latest in intuitive design.

Ergonomic features include the award-winning iASSIST remote control operation, which utilises Bluetooth technology and allows clinicians to operate the system from a distance.  Patient examinations are always quiet and comfortable, which allows the operator to control the user interface without voice commands.
