AXREM and RAD Magazine announce new partnership

AXREM is the UK trade association representing the interests of suppliers of diagnostic medical imaging, radiotherapy, healthcare IT and care equipment including patient monitoring in the UK. RAD Magazine, established almost 50 years ago, has been a leading publication in its field and has a wide and influential readership. AXREM and RAD Magazine are pleased to announce a formal partnership allowing the organisations to work together more closely for the benefit of both organisations.

RAD Magazine is recognised throughout the profession by radiologists, radiotherapists, radiographers and medical imaging specialists, as well as decision makers in the hospital equipment, pharmaceutical and supplies industries.

AXREM members supply the majority of diagnostic medical imaging and radiotherapy equipment installed in UK hospitals. In doing so, our member companies and their employees work side by side with radiologists, radiographers and practitioners, oncologists and a wide range of healthcare professionals in delivering healthcare to patients using our technologies. Our members therefore have unique knowledge, experience and insight into the workflow and challenges faced by healthcare professionals on a day-to-day basis, which enables us to develop and offer innovative solutions to improve the speed and quality of diagnostic procedures and treatments with our ultimate aim of improving patient care.

This new partnership will enable AXREM to reach more healthcare professionals but also promote membership to other industry companies who have not yet joined the leading association for diagnostic imaging, radiotherapy and patients monitoring as well as all the associated AI and IT.

Mechel Rees, managing director at RAD Magazine said upon signing the partnership: “We’re delighted to enter into this partnership with AXREM and are looking forward to working closely with them and their members in the coming months.  We will be introducing special incentives for AXREM members and hope that this partnership will encourage members we’ve so far been unable to reach to put their trust in RAD Magazine.”

Sally Edgington, AXREM chief executive officer said: “I have been working closely with Mechel and the team at RAD Magazine for some time, so this is a natural progression of the relationship we have built which will benefit AXREM and the reach to industry and healthcare professionals and will enable our members to be fully briefed and aware of all the work done by the team at RAD Magazine.”
