AXREM convenor takes on Great North Run for Alzheimer’s charity

AXREM has nominated Alzheimer’s Research UK as its charity for 2024. AXREM patient monitoring special focus group convenor and Mindray patient monitoring and life support marketing manager UKI David Britton is taking part in the Great North Run Half Marathon in support of the charity.
During the Great North Run 60,000 runners cover a 13.1 mile route from Newcastle to South Shields. Britton said: “I am delighted to be supporting AXREM’s nominated charity and its superb work with Alzheimer’s. I am not one of the world’s natural runners – finishing a mere 29,000 places behind Mo Farrah last year. Finishing is my target and if you can spare a little money for this great cause it would be much appreciated.”
AXREM ceo Sally Edgington added: “I see commitment from our members every day, but this offer is going way above and beyond and I hope our members and supporters will get behind David so we can raise a lot more money for Alzheimer’s Research UK.”
