AXREM has been shortlisted for three awards at the Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards 2024. These will take place in London on February 22, 2024 at an event where more than 300 trade association colleagues will come together to celebrate the work carried out by trade bodies.
AXREM chair Jeevan Gunaratnam said: “I am really proud to lead an organisation that is growing and developing, despite the challenges being felt by many of our members and the NHS. To be recognised in these awards and shortlisted is a proud moment for all of our members and the staff team.”
Two of the awards AXREM has been shortlisted for are Publication of the Year for its member and external stakeholder newsletters and the ESG Initiative of the Year for the work of its Sustainability Special Focus Group, which brings together AXREM members and representatives from NHS England, NHS Scotland, NHS Supply Chain, the Department for Health and Social Care, the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine and The Royal College of Radiologists.
AXREM chief executive officer Sally Edgington has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Leadership Award. She said: “I look back each year and reflect on the work of the association and cannot believe, for such a small team, just how much we achieve and will always be immensely grateful to the members and external stakeholders for their support of the association and our work.
“I am really excited for the awards event in February, and congratulate all the shortlisted organisations and colleagues.”
