AXREM members smash step challenge
Across the UK, more than 150 participants from 22 member companies took part in AXREM’s Million Steps Challenge, championing wellbeing, community and charitable impact. They collectively walked more than two million steps in one day, doubling the original target.
The event culminated in a scenic group walk through the Cotswolds. A representative from Action for Children joined the walk, highlighting the charitable spirit at the heart of the initiative.
Among the participants, a standout contributor was Irina Wade from Qure.ai, who clocked 72,000 steps in a single day and was named Star of the Challenge.
The Million Steps Challenge will now become an annual event and plans are underway to make the 2026 event bigger.
