AXREM reports on UK healthcare technology and NHS readiness
AXREM’s second annual State of the Nation report, produced by the AXREM Future Leaders Council (AFLC), gives an overview of the challenges and opportunities facing the NHS, while underlining the role that innovation, investment and collaboration with industry will play in shaping the future of UK healthcare. Building on the inaugural publication, the new edition captures year-on-year insights, with a focus on diagnostic capacity, workforce shortages, procurement reform, digital resilience and the rapid rise of AI in clinical practice.
AFLC has identified key statistics that underscore ongoing challenges facing NHS services, particularly in medical imaging. Building on the figures presented in last year’s report, it has focused on comparable data to more accurately illustrate the current state of the sector across the UK.
