Bake-off is a sweet success as EIZO raises awareness of breast cancer charity

EIZO bake-off

The aroma of freshly baked cakes filled the air at EIZO’s Ascot headquarters as nine talented bakers rolled up their sleeves for a cause that has touched millions of lives. The company’s Pink Ribbon Day bake-off brought the teams together in support of CoppaFeel!, a breast cancer awareness charity founded by Kris Hallenga.

“Hallenga’s inspiring journey – founding CoppaFeel! at age 23 after her own diagnosis – reminds us why early detection and awareness are so crucial,” EIZO explained. “Her unwavering spirit and dedication to educating young people about breast cancer awareness served as the perfect inspiration for our baking challenge, where creativity met compassion in every carefully crafted creation.”

The challenge was to create a show stopping cake that would capture the spirit of breast cancer awareness and showcase the bakers’ artistic talents. A panel of three judges had the task of selecting a winner based on decoration, with each entry telling its own story of support for the cause.

“While one baker claimed the coveted ‘best decorated’ title, the true victory lay in the collective effort of our Ascot family,” the company continued. “The event served as a reminder of CoppaFeel!’s mission: to ensure all young people are educated about breast cancer and empowered to know their bodies.

“As we look back on this successful event, we’re reminded that the sweetest victories are those shared in service of others. Our Pink Ribbon Day bake-off may have lasted just one day, but its impact will continue to ripple through our ongoing commitment to supporting CoppaFeel!’s life-saving work.”
