Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust has invested in five Toshiba ultrasound systems for three sites in the Borough of Barnet.

Edgware Community Hospital upgraded its ultrasound facilities with two replacement systems and a third scanner was supplied to Potters Bar Community Hospital also as a replacement.   The remaining two are new systems at Barnet Hospital.

Barnet’s clinical ultrasound manager Karen Hammett said: “We selected the Aplios for their outstanding image quality and ease-of-use.  They were purchased to cover obstetrics, gynaecology, plus abdominal and small parts imaging.”
