Barnsley goes syringeless and notices the difference
At Barnsley are radiology business manager Dave Houghton, radiographers Keira O’Leary and John Beckwolden, CT superintendent Anita Turner, radiographer Sarah Bellamy and Bracco UK capital equipment specialist Linda Mulholland.
Staff at Barnsley District General Hospital, South Yorkshire, have noticed a considerable reduction in clinical waste and quicker turnaround times since the installation of a CT Exprès syringeless contrast injector from Bracco.
During operation the test injection function has enabled elimination of a separate syringe to test the position of the cannula.
