Barts radiotherapy receives quality award

Radiotherapy team members Masuma Chowdhury, Dr Virginia Wolstenholme, Marieline Anthoo, Jahanara Ahmed, Oscar Riches and Zoe Malone.
The radiotherapy department at St Bartholomew’s Hospital has been awarded a Macmillan Quality Environment Mark. It is the first radiotherapy unit in London to be given the distinction, which is awarded to environments that meet a high standard of care for people living with cancer.
Consultant clinical oncologist Dr Virginia Wolstenholme said: “This is a wonderful achievement for the whole department because it recognises that we are giving quality and compassionate care to our patients. I want to thank all of our staff for their passion and tireless work without them this would not be possible.”
