Basildon Hospital has chosen three Aloka ProSound Alpha 6 ultrasound scanners to replace the Aloka SSD-3500s that have provided several years of service to the maternity ultrasound unit.

The systems were chosen to perform the full workload of obstetric imaging including early pregnancy, nuchal translucency screening and fetal anomaly scans.
