Beatson improves immobilisation in prostate SABR

The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre has chosen the ProSTEP immobilisation device for pelvis and lower limb positioning during radiotherapy.

After researching the market, the centre in Glasgow has initially ordered six devices, supplied by Oncology Imaging Systems Limited.  Consultant radiographer Karen Moore said: “It will provide optimum immobilisation for the treatment of prostate patients with stereotactic ablative radiotherapy.”
