Brentwood Hospital in Essex, run by Nuffield Health, has improved image quality and reduced patient doses with the installation of Konica Minolta’s Aero DR solutions. Imaging manager Dawn Moat said: “The retrofit to our x-ray room was completed quickly, with little downtime. The radiographers find the system easy to use and have noted that radiation doses have been reduced with no compromise on image quality.”
The project replaced the hospital’s legacy CR system. The Konica Aero DR installation offered 35 x 43 and 10 x 12 panels, providing the flexibility to use different-sized panels depending on the examination required.
