BIR discusses career opportunities for trainees

The British Institute of Radiology hosted a well-attended radiology event at the Holiday Inn, Regent’s Park. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Training and Beyond was organised by the BIR’s Trainee Committee on behalf of the BIR and was sponsored by Telemedicine.
The DoH national clinical lead for diagnostic imaging Dr Erika Denton, RCR past president Professor Andy Adam and BIR President Dr Stephen Davies were among the speakers who addressed the future of radiology and its impact on the career opportunities for today’s trainees.
Said committee member Daniel McGowan: “The meeting was so oversubscribed we had to move venue!”
