BIR welcomes Swedish technology company

Micropos chief executive officer Tomas Gustafsson, sales consultant Irina Sandin, BIR chief executive Jacqueline Fowler and Micropos sales director Kauko Haapasaari.

The British Institute of Radiology (BIR) has welcomed Micropos Medical as a corporate member.  Micropos Medical is a Swedish medical technology company that provides the RayPilot system.  This system offers secure real-time target tracking and motion recording in stereotactic body radiotherapy and works as an add-on to any linac.

Micropos ceo Tomas Gustafsson said: “We are introducing our tumour tracking device in the UK and we are happy to join The British Institute of Radiology, which we see as a good platform to create new contacts around radiotherapy professionals and to learn about the trends and news in radiotherapy.”
