Bradford’s patients receive lower doses

Bradford Royal Infirmary’s busy A&E department has improved the quality and speed of its x-ray examinations following a second digital installation from Konica Minolta.
The installation follows the successful introduction of the X70 into a busy general room in the main x-ray department.
Principal superintendent radiographer Joanna Oxley said: “The speed and quality of the X70 room has greatly improved our workflow in this busy area. Reduction in dose is important and the equipment itself is extremely light and easy to handle. Feedback from our clinical staff has been very positive and the support from Konica Minolta in this crucial area has been excellent.”
