Buckland Hospital, part of East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, has replaced old x-ray equipment with a Philips DigitalDiagnost High Performance system. Installed in the new-build hospital, the DigitalDiagnost HP has been designed for high throughput and covers a large variety of applications and projections.
Principal radiographer Lee Gavin said: “The equipment is versatile and user-friendly; feedback from staff using the new system has been positive. In our new hospital we are a single room department and the ease-of-use of the DigitalDiagnost has allowed us to cope well during our busiest periods. We chose Philips equipment as the system seemed to offer a good range of functions that met our needs.”
