Candover Clinic private healthcare unit, located on the campus of Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, has added two Siemens Healthcare imaging systems to its diagnostic suite. The Magnetom Aera MR and Somatom Definition AS CT systems are helping to provide patients with easily accessible diagnostic treatment, as rapidly as possible, in a newly-built suite specifically designed to optimise patient comfort and radiographer efficiency.
“Patient experience is of utmost importance to us and the Siemens systems help our patients feel comfortable and relaxed, particularly those with claustrophobia,” said superintendent radiographer Desiree Naidoo.
“The ease of use and short scan times are also having a big impact on patient throughput, which allows the clinic to work as efficiently as possible while giving a rapid service to our patients.”
