Carebot increases AI support for mammography as it receives significant funding boost
Carebot has closed the largest investment in its history, exceeding €1.5m, and has introduced its third certified product, Carebot AI MMG, for mammography diagnostics support.
Carebot AI MMG provides AI support for mammography diagnostics. It highlights suspicious findings during image evaluation, serves as an independent second reader and automatically assesses the technical quality of examinations. It contributes to the earlier detection of breast cancer, significantly increasing the chance of successful treatment. The company says that in the Czech Republic, approximately 30 per cent of mammography centres already use AI, while many others are actively testing systems.
Carebot says over the past year it has more than tripled the number of hospitals in which its AI supports doctors in everyday diagnostics. Its solutions are now deployed across hundreds of hospitals throughout Europe, Vietnam and the Middle East.
Carebot CEO Matej Misar said: “Our growth is driven not only by hospital partnerships but also by global collaborations, including partnerships with some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Our goal remains the same: to make AI a standard of care.”
