SonoSite’s first half-day course in peripherally inserted central catheter placement proved a huge success, and places for similar courses are already filling up. For over 10 years SonoSite has been an providing ultrasound education and continues to add new courses every year to meet customers’ changing requirements. This latest course programme was developed as a response to the growing demand for training in catheter placement, where NICE guidelines (NICE TA49) have strongly recommended the use of ultrasound in order to prevent complications.
Most courses are held at the company’s dedicated training and education centre in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
