Charity stays on its toes to keep ISAS accreditation

Medical charity Cobalt has received confirmation from the United Kingdom Accreditation Service that its PETCT imaging centre has maintained the standards to meet the Imaging Services Accreditation Scheme.

Cobalt’s ceo Peter Sharpe said: “This award gives us the perfect framework around which to assess, audit and improve all aspects of our service delivery at Cobalt.  It is not possible to achieve this accreditation as a tick box exercise, there has to be a culture to consistently strive for excellence in an objective way which can stand up to scrutiny.  It certainly keeps us on our toes and our patient satisfaction scores reflect the effort.”
