Cheque presentation rounds off successful year of fundrasising
RAD Magazine’s David Roberts presents a cheque to The Stroke Association’s George Burroughs. With them are Claire Hewitt, Katherine Powell, Mechel Rowe and Roz Rendall of RAD Magazine, and Kate Woods of Stansted News.
The RAD Magazine Foundation has presented The Stroke Association with a cheque for £7,500, bringing the total it raised last year for the charity to £10,500.
Managing director David Roberts said that after working closely with The Stroke Association during 2014 and 2015, staff had decided to continue to support it this year as well.
The first main event for this year will be The Brighton Marathon weekend in April when a RADleys’ Runners team will again be pounding the streets of Brighton. This year’s RAD Magazine Foundation Golf Day will be held on June 30 at Five Lakes, Colchester.
