Medray Imaging Systems has installed three Carestream DRX-Revolution mobile x-ray units at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
As the only hospital in Northern Ireland dedicated specifically to the care of children, Royal Belfast Hospital provides general care for children living in the city, as well as delivering most of the paediatric regional specialities for children throughout Northern Ireland.
Superintendent radiographer Jenny McKinstry said: “As a dedicated children’s hospital, we are particularly happy with the child-friendly imagery on the mobiles. We feel this makes them less intimidating and adds a bit of fun to our work.”
