Closer to the two-week target at Southampton

Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust has acquired a Philips iU22 ultrasound system for the Southampton and Salisbury Breast Imaging Unit at Princess Anne Hospital.  The system, purchased by the league of friends, expands the unit’s capacity and assists in meeting the two-week waiting target.

 

Consultant radiologist Dr Caroline Rubin said: “We selected the scanner for its image quality and we have not been disappointed.”
