Cloud-based service supports remote teleradiology

Carestream Health has signed a five-year contract to provide a new cloud-based technical reporting service for teleradiology company DMC Imaging (DMCI).
DMCI is a growing UK-based firm that provides remote teleradiology reporting services for the NHS and independent healthcare providers. Its team of more than 50 radiologists provide sub-specialty radiologist reporting services throughout the UK. The company has purchased a Carestream Vue Cloud service that will provide a reporting platform for radiologists, supported by modules for peer review, billing and business analytics.
DMCI managing director Simon Maharg said: “We are thrilled to be using the Carestream Vue Cloud service. In keeping with our use of thin client technology, the system also brings considerable flexibility, security and efficiency.”
