Since being founded in 2021, Compleo Health has proven to be an aspirational and disruptive service provider within the diagnostic imaging space. As the focus on change in the NHS heightens, the need for providers to demonstrate value for money and present innovative solutions has increased. This pressure has seen many larger established providers deepen their relationships with NHS trusts, support the expansion of community diagnostic centres and deliver great value. It has also however, allowed newer entrants to the market such as Compleo Health, to present truly innovative propositions and act as a disruptor through the deployment of advanced technology, flexible commercials and operating models.

In a capitally constrained environment where NHS trusts are constantly being challenged to contain cost, Compleo has uniquely supported access to the latest equipment through novel models of delivery and working in partnership with those commissioning their services. Their success has been highlighted by maiden Lung Cancer Screening Programme contracts, deployments across England, Scotland, Wales and parts of the EU, and activity to support OEM driven replacement programmes. Compleo Health’s commercial director, David Uregbula said: “We’ve had a great first six months and delivering the scanning elements of our first Lung Cancer Screening Programme across West Yorkshire is immensely pleasing. Through greater awareness of our capabilities, we’ve been able to expand our footprint and deliver greater value to the NHS.”

Half one of 2025 has seen Compleo increase their activity by greater than 50 per cent vs prior year. This is a level of growth they seem set build upon as they explore further innovations, workflow efficiencies and new technology. Beverley Wallace, Compleo Health chief executive said: “Our recent collaborations have represented what’s possible when innovation meets purpose. There has been significant growth in MRI and together with our NHS partners we are committed to exploring more ways to improve access and ensure our technology can be applied effectively to the benefit of communities across the country.”

Compleo’s flexible solutions, high standards and effective deployment of their growing fleet, will see them strengthen their position in the market. What this highlights is how the competitiveness of the space is seeing development by many large and well known providers, but also those on the climb. This will no doubt benefit those procuring these services and will continue to drive diagnostic imaging forward.
