German medical technology manufacturer ulrich medical presented a version of its CT motion contrast media injector designed for the American market at RSNA in Chicago. It has FDA approval and will be marketed in cooperation with partner GE Healthcare. ulrich medical already supplies its contrast media injectors to more than 60 countries.

“We have been growing very successfully with our American subsidiary in the spinal systems business division,” said ceo Klaus Kiesel. “The fact that we are now also entering the USA market with the contrast media injectors product division is a logical consequence of the increasing internationalisation of our industry.”

Another topic this year was the RIS/PACS interface for the CT motion, a feature that ulrich medical launched at the end of May. The interface integrates the injector into existing radiology RIS and PACS in a convenient and user-friendly way, helping hospitals and medical practices to achieve simple, comprehensive documentation of all relevant imaging and injection data.
