Control-X Medical enters the UK market with ceiling-mounted DR system
Control-X Medical has more than 30 years’ experience and thousands of installations worldwide. Its Perform-X C400 digital radiography (DR) system combines efficiency, safety and image quality and is now available in the UK through a partnership with Xograph Healthcare.
Xograph says the system represents a significant advancement in DR, combining intelligent automation with robust engineering to meet the demands of modern imaging departments. Designed as a ceiling-mounted suite, the C400 offers APR (anatomically programmed radiography) controlled automatic positioning, enabling the system to move seamlessly into place for each examination. This reduces set-up time, minimises operator fatigue and improves patient throughput.
The system integrates Canon Medical Systems’ premium detectors and imaging software with PXIM Intelligent Modular Software, creating a unified platform for movement control, generator settings and image acquisition. PXIM provides an intuitive smart console interface, embedded automation for tracking, stitching and positioning, and remote diagnostics to minimise downtime. Canon’s high DQE detectors deliver image quality at low dose, while advanced image processing ensures diagnostic confidence and full DICOM compatibility.
