CR upgrade helps meet increasing demand

At County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust are Agfa HealthCare account manager Andrew Jackson, field service engineer John Forster, senior field service engineer Nathan Davis, radiographer Angela Jackson, superintendent radiographer Val Gleason and radiographer Gill Lonsdale.

Agfa HealthCare has signed a contract with County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust to upgrade its CR solutions with Agfa HealthCare’s DX-G digitiser, including NX 8600 software and Musica2 image processing.

Superintendent radiographer Val Gleason said: “In the radiology department we strive to achieve the highest quality diagnostic images for our patients. The new digitiser, software and image processing provide exceptional image quality but remain fast and easy of use. As the number of patients we see on a daily basis increases, this allows us to meet the demands and ensure continued high-quality imaging.”
